Arvind has over 20 years of experience in corporate, academics and consulting. He has vast experience IP strategy, IP filing, and IP commercialization, patent drafting, patent search and analysis, IP prosecution and Innovation management.
At IPR Engineers, Arvind provides advisory to different clients. His past experiences include working as an independent contractor for Lofelt, GmbH. He draft over 25 applications that were filed in EPO, USPTO, prepare office action responses, coordinate with external law firms, capture IP within the organization and help in building patent portfolio. Currently, he provides advisory to Crocus Labs, in Berlin. In addition, he handles many clients in the US and Canada.
Prior to my current assignment, he was vice-president at Intrust Global Pvt. Ltd for patent outsourcing and worked with many IP laws firms and attorneys in US. Before joining Intrust Global, I was Head -IPR at European Business and Technology Centre – An EU project, where he guided and mentored EU companies in handling their Intellectual Property in India and worked closely with EPO office in Munich to train patent professionals in India on EPO laws and procedures.
As a software IP professional, he worked as Sr. Manager at GlobalLogic where he headed the IP division and trained software engineers on IP. He worked with Boston based Law Firm providing all backend upport for all patent matters to different attorneys. Earlier, he was a part of Microsoft team at CPA Global.
Arvind hold a B.E. (Electronics), MBA (Marketing) and P.G Diploma in Advanced Software Design and Development (PGASSD)-CDAC. He is a master trainer for EPO and conduct training programs on EPO search engines, procedures and EPO rules. He is a registered advocate with Bar Council of Delhi practicing IP Law and also a registered patent agent with Indian Patent Office. He also work with startups and other companies on legal, IP and technology matters both in India, US and Europe.
He is a regular speaker at various national and international conferences and has conducted training programmes on IPR across India. He conducts various patent training programmes at various government and non-government institutions.
